Prior to that, I worked primarily in fiber, metal, and as a performing artist. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eMy paintings are mixed media, with collage being my favorite form of expression, typically combined with encaustic or cold wax and oil.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eMy love of art and my emotional “pull”  has produced a diverse body of work on a variety of themes including grief, floating free, invasives, colony collapse, the body as container, everyday madonnas, and my newest series entitled joy.  The work in this show is from various bodies of work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy work has been shown over two decades in venues in Wisconsin and Florida.  My first solo show was twenty years ago in Appleton, and my latest group exhibition was
